Determine your needs
  • What type of imaging data will you be storing?

  • Is imaging data being sent to you from multiple sites?

  • Will you be receiving data directly from Duke University Medical Center imaging facilities?

  • What type of media will your data be loaded from?

  • Will you require electronic data transfer from imaging facilities outside DUMC?

  • How many users require access to your imaging data?

  • Meet with us
  • Meet with DIAL staff to custom design an account to meet your needs.
  • Schedule Training
  • Schedule training with DIAL staff. User training must be completed by PI staff before an authorized user account is assigned.
  • Load Data
  • SQUID account is initiated. PI is notified. Authorized users are now ready to load data into account.
  • Use Data
  • Data is stored and backed up in PI's unique account (Application Entity title) in SQUID and backed up according to DIAL protocol
